Team Changes for GAU.
All things change, that is the nature of life and GAU is the same. This past week or so has seen some key members of the team leave for pastures new. This next couple of weeks will see more people move on as well. These folk, you know who you are, are going to be missed a great deal.
These people who joined the team were at first colleagues, they soon became friends and trusted advisors. They brought expertise and many guiding words. Lending a caring ear when I needed to moan, they raised a pint when I needed a drinking buddy, they laughed and cried with me, and as we say where my family are from, they walked the mountain with me. They stood tall amongst others and most of all they made a difference. None of them would like to be named, they preferred to stay in the background, however I salute you.
Global Acts of Unity is the less for their going. It has been a true honour to work with these people. Dedicated, honest and caring are just a few of the many words I could use to describe them. I wish them all the very best and I know the rest of the GAU team do as well. Wherever they go and whatever they do, I know that they will bring that same dedication and expertise to their new positions. I highly recommend them to their new employers, you will benefit from their commitment.
GAU Welcomes New Members.
As one door closes another opens, these friends leaving are being replaced with new people and I welcome you to the team. I am sure that we will have a great working relationship and become friends. I look forward to exploring new ideas and ways that we can make GAU better. A bright future awaits us.
